Into the Forest I go

Shamanic journey

I go into trance as I dance to the beat of the drum. I step out onto lichen covered stone and I see I am made of stone also. Slowly the edges break away and my body is exposed. As the stone falls away I see a deep, dark and beautiful forest of pine trees in front of me. They are releasing their golden pollen and the air is fragrant with their mist. Golden threads of light emerge from my meridian lines reaching forward and connecting to the pine trees of the forest. The sacred geometry of the tree’s structure of growth and pine cone design spirals into me and meets with my internal design for life.

Where the stone has fallen away from me and onto the ground, the rubble I leave behind is like building blocks, foundation. As I look to the stones I see others are rising from the Earth in their stone bodies, encapsulated and still. The golden threads of my meridian lines meeting with and interacting with them cracks them open and their stone falls away leaving beautiful hearts of gold.

In seeing their hearts of gold I am encouraged to move forward. I pick up my bow and golden tipped arrow and I shoot high into the sky creating a star burst of light that rains down golden shards. Illuminating the dark forest. Now we see there are many beings sheltering in the forest also, not just covered under stone.

We move forward together with our radiant golden hearts glowing. Entering the forest very calmly. We see the beings in the forest are part tree part man. Their minds are wooden. Not aware. We speak to them in gentle tones as they are cringing away from us. They see we shine with light and light is their nourishment so they soft to us, meet with us and listen to our stories of how we fell asleep as stone. They tell us they never slept but remained still for a very long time. Wintering dormantly and budding in spring.

We sit together in the forest showered in golden pine pollen as our memories of before return. Through sharing and connecting we awaken ourselves and our souls come fully into our bodies allowing us to see our divinity. It is a sweet remembering and we rejoice together.
